(Mirror) - The Bodu Bala Sena says that the crisis triggered due to the Halal certification is over.

Speaking at a meeting of the Bodu Bala Sena yesterday (17) secretary of the organization - Ven. Galaboda Aththe Gnanasara Thero said that they will not pursue to the issue further.

The Bodu Bala Sena would next focus on the ancient sacred site of Kuragala, in Balangoda, where a group of Musilms are raising illegal constructions.

The organization said they would set a deadline to April 30 for this group to evacuate the premises.

Noting that Kuragala was gazetted as an archaeological site by the Archaeological Department, the Bodu Bala Sena secretary called upon Buddhist masses to join their mission to salvage Kuragala.

The Thero emphasized that the forthcoming Vesak poya would be commemorated in Kuragala on a national level.
