SLFP also wants an election...

Meanwhile, addressing a public rally in Nikaweratiya yesterday (24) President Maithripala Sirisena said despite allegations being levelled, the SLFP is also desperately seeking an early election.

He said at the time the 19th Amendment was passed in parliament, the UNP only had 47 seats in parliament and that the SLFP led UPFA had given 142 votes.
